ROLdoûr Recess the frame Measuring Guide

Ensure a Perfect Recess Fit:

To customise your ROLdoûr, provide the total height and width of the outside frame you need. Accurate measurements are key for a seamless fit.

Step-by-Step Measuring Instructions:

Recessing the Frame:

30mm Lip/Splashback: Create a 30mm high lip in front of the bottom track to keep water inside the shower. Alternatively, use clear silicone at the track corners to prevent leaks.

35mm Lip/Splashback: Opting for a 35mm lip allows you to reduce the frame height by 5mm and raise the frame 5mm off the base, facilitating drainage and easy cleaning under the ROLdoûr Frame.

Measure the Height (Max 2000mm):

Measure from the top of the recess to the base frame/tray, subtracting 5mm if using the 35mm lip. Take measurements on both sides and in the centre, using the smallest measurement.

Measure the Width (Max 1000mm):

Measure the width at the top, middle, and bottom of the recess. Use the smallest measurement for a snug fit.

Option 1: 30mm Lip

Installation Tips:

- For better performance and ease of cleaning, the 35mm lip is preferred. It enhances drainage efficiency and minimises maintenance concerns by allowing better access beneath the frame.
