About the TAMdoûr Standard Straight Track & Corners System

The TAMdoûr Standard Track System is designed for smooth and efficient operation, making it an excellent choice for campervan and RV shower doors. Here's everything you need to know:

Track Features

Standard Straight Track with 90-Degree Corners:
- Ideal for horizontal slide-open configurations.
- Can be adapted for vertical up-and-over slides by recessing the track into wood/ply and adding extra 90-degree corners for turning down the back.
Low-Friction Design: Ensures the door slides effortlessly along the track and corners.

Kit Inclusions

Two lengths of low-friction straight track, each double the width of your door order.
Two 90-degree corners for smooth transitions.
Option to replace the standard track with flexible or U-shape spiral tracks, as needed.

Installation Guidelines

For Furniture/Cabinets:
- Recess the track 11mm deep and 16mm wide.
- The top hat-shaped track leaves a 5mm lip visible on each side of the channel, set back 5mm from the cabinet edge.
For Hard Surfaces:
- Bond the track using adhesive, utilising the pocket channel underneath for grip.
- Tracks are protected by a 12/13mm high lip to prevent damage from kicks.
Measurement Instructions:
- Furniture Vertical Slide: Measure the cabinet's inside width and add 18mm for track clearance. Check at three heights to ensure level sidewalls.
- Hard Surface Horizontal Slide: Measure floor to track position at three points, using the smallest measurement for alignment. Ensure the top track varies no more than 5mm for smooth sliding.

Installation Tips

Secure the top track to a batten for added stability and ensure it is level and parallel to the door.
Adjust the track until the door slides smoothly, then fix the batten in place.
Minimise the gap between the door top and track to prevent tilting and friction.
